Cloves
Cloves are the aromatic dried flower buds of the Myrtaceae tree family. Native Indonesian cloves, widely used as a spice for spicy dishes in European countries, and as the main ingredient for Indonesian clove cigarettes. Clove tree growth requires a humid tropical or subtropical climate with a rainfall of 2,332 mm/year. Clove trees can be planted in areas far from the sea and have an altitude of 0-1500 m above sea level. Clove trees can grow optimally at temperatures around 20-30 degrees Celsius. These cloves come from plantations in Java, Sulawesi and parts of Sumatra.

White Pepper
Pepper has the name King of Spices where the need for pepper in the world in 2000
reached 280,000 tons. More than 80% of Indonesia’s pepper products are exported abroad. The increase in the export value of Indonesian black pepper was also in line with the export volume in that period which reached 4.85 thousand tons, an increase of 10.16 percent yoy. This continued the trend of the previous year (January – March 2021) with an export value of US$11.80 million, an increase of 48.8p percent yoy and export volume reaching 4.40 thousand tons or a growth of 29.34 percent yoy.

CINNAMON
CINNAMON (Cinnamomum) Included in the type of spice produced from the inner skin which is dry, very flavorful, sweet and spicy. People used to use the spice in sweet baked goods, hot wine and also used it medicinally. Cinnamon is one of the oldest food spices used by humans. Cinnamon is also traditionally used as a supplement for various ailments, mixed with honey, for example for the treatment of rheumatism, skin, heart and flatulence.

05.
Nutmeg
Nutmeg is a dark-leaved evergreen tree cultivated for the two spices derived from its fruit: nutmeg, from the seed, and mace, from the seed coat. It is also a commercial source of nutmeg essential oil and butter. Indonesia is a major producer of nutmeg and mace.

Candlenut
Candlenut (Aleurites moluccana), is a plant whose seeds are used as a source of oil and spices. This plant is still related to cassava and belongs to the Euphorbiaceae tribe. In international trade it is known as candleberry, indian walnut and candlenut. The tree is called the lacquer tree or Kukui nut tree. The oil extracted from the seeds is beneficial.
