Indonesia exports in the form of conjac chips or wheat flour to Japan, Australia, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Korea, New Zealand, Pakistan, England, Germany, America and Italy. Porang is a potential plant to be developed as an export commodity because several countries need this plant as an industrial material. Porang is a plant that has a source of glucomannan. Glucomannan is a carbohydrate that is widely used in the pharmaceutical, food & beverage, cosmetic, adhesive and glue industries
